The Nadia P Joseph Foundation will be hosting a chip timed 5K run/walk at Quiet Waters Park to bring awareness to mental health and raise funds for our programs on Sunday October 9th, 2021.

In Recognition of mental health awareness month, we ask our community to join us in raising awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. One in four people will deal with a mental health issue in their lifetime and that one person’s life impacts so many more, families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to name just a few. We are committed to helping everyone recognize that taking care of one’s mental wellness is as important and necessary as taking care of one’s physical wellness.

The kickoff ceremony will begin at 6:45am at Quiet Waters Park.

We are inviting everyone in our community to join us at the you are not alone community run or walk to help reduce the stigma of mental health.

All participants will receive a you are not alone T-shirt, finisher medal, chip timing with live results, free water, snacks and resources from your local healthcare organization and speakers from the community.

This race will be chip timed by Southern Timing, LLC. All participants will receive chip timing with live results, and an individual results page complete with a finisher certificate, pace breakdown and a 20 second video of you crossing the start & finish line!

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the physical race may be canceled at the discretion of NPJF. In this event, all registrations will automatically be converted to virtual registrations.
