Race Description

Red Bull’s charity race Wings for Life World Run returns for the ninth time – on May 8, 2022 people from all over the world will start at the same time to run as far as they can before the “Catcher Car” catches up to them and finishes their race in order to raise money and awareness for people with spinal cord injuries.

The 2022 event will be bigger than ever, held virtually through the Wings for Life World Run app with the latest update, which is now available in Apple and Google Play Store. The special feature of the App, compared to ordinary running or fitness apps, is the audio experience – an exciting listening experience that informs, motivates and entertains participants during the run before the “Catcher Car” is finishing their race.

All entry fees into the race and extra donations go straight to the Wings for Life foundation which is dedicated to finding a cure for spinal cord injury.
