28th Windsor Half Marathon held within the grounds of Windsor Great Park, with spectacular views of Windsor Castle. This is a very popular event and has one of the most beautiful settings in the country, being ranked in the top 10 Half Marathons in the UK.

My first run, found it quite hilly but not as bad as I had thought. Really enjoyed the run and the fact that I had used the official schedule helped me alot on the day. Windsor Great Park is a great route and one I may try again.

If you found the hills tough, perhaps look at flatter courses for a PB next time out – but getting round injury free is enough for most of us, so well done 🙂
