Race Description

Wharfedale Off-Road Marathon Fell Race is a 25 mile off road event.It affords paricipants and their families the opportunity to enjoy a great day out in some of Wharfedale’s finest scenery with a brief foray into Malhamdale. With over 2,530 feet of ascents the route follows well established footpaths, including the Dalesway, the Monks Road and Mastiles Lane and for those with time to take in the fabulous scenery the views from Yew Cogar Scar, Bull Scar and Boss Moor are breathtaking. The Marathon is organised under the Fell Runners Association Rules and is category CL. Precise details of the route is shown in the relevant section of the website www.wharfedalemarathonevents.com
