Very poor organisation of this race, there were no marshalls at the left turn that we were supposed to take along the canal so quite a lot of us doing the 5k ended going the wrong way. Very disappointed.
You shouldn’t be disappointed as it is the runners responsibility to know his/her route. This is racing rules. Apart from that I thought the race event was really good. Next time review your race route.
Lloyd.
That may be the official ake on it! But how was anyone meant to learn the route through all the trees etc, surely at the end of the day it was a bit of a cock up. I saw ppl going the wrong way but was fortunate that someone a few places ahead new the way. No marshalls at a turning point is crazy. Probably a one off mistalke but rubbish for the runners that went the wrong way. I think it’s crazy to try and blame runners for not knowing the route
