Race Description
Ultrachampsaur will be hosted for the third time, the 3rd of july 2011.
The race takes place very close to the National Park “Les Ecrins” in the Champsaur Valley. The route offers awesome sceneries. It goes through mountain lakes, crests, summits, pathes in larches forest, pastures with marmots.
The race is organized with the support of 4 villages of the valley and the volunteers are very please to welcome you to their place and make you discover the treasures of the area.
Many services are offered to the runners, like free shuttles, massages by physical therapist, showers.
6 split time are displayed live on the Internet.
A nice meal with local food is provided to everyone at the arrival. A nice way to wait for the last finishers that will reach Ancelle after more than 15 hours of efforts.
