Race Description

Tórshavn Marathon is an AIMS approved road race that has been held every year since 1992. Tórshavn Marathon is truly a running festival, with 4 distances for all age groups: marathon, half marathon, fun run 3k and 5 K . The course of the marathon is unique, and very scenic. The marathon and the half marathon go twice thru the centre of Tórshavn at the beginning of the race. The race starts and finishes at the SMS shopping centre. Nearest hotels are within 5 to 10 minutes’ walking distance from the start of the race
