Race Description
A 10 mile true multi terrain race, starting on Sion Street, Radcliffe and onto the Irwell Valley trail where the course runs flat until the runners climb up to and around Hurst Wood. Leaving the wood and returning to the trial before climbing from the trail to Philips Park, a loop of part of the park sees the runners return to the trail and a further loop of Hurst Wood. Returning to the trail for a shorter distance than on the way out, leaving over the footbridge onto Sion Street and climbing up Cams Lane to finish on the Nellie Halstead Track.
