THE COURSE:
A beautifully scenic, flat and fast USATF certified 2.96 mile loop around the shores of Rockland Lake. Just shy of 9 laps = Marathon. All runners’ laps scored.
AMENITIES:
Premium aid stations every mile, free T-shirt, medals for all finishers, full medical support, post race vegetarian buffet.
REGISTRATION AND FEES:
Register Online through RedPodium or Active. Processing fee applies; RedPodium has lower fee.

Early Registration: $50 through July 31
Late Registration: $60 through August 18
Entries received after August 18 will NOT be accepted. STRICTLY NO RACE DAY ENTRIES.
Race number pickup: 6:00 AM on race-day only. NO RACE DAY ENTRIES
AWARDS:
Male and Female: Top 7: under 50, top 3: 50-59, top 2: 60-69, Top 1: 70 and over.
Medals for all finishers.
Awards ceremony at 12:15 PM on race day.
T-SHIRTS:
Free race T-shirts guaranteed for all participants registered by the July 31.
T-Shirt sizes are Unisex: X-Small, Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2XL
TIME LIMIT:
All participants must complete the race within 7 hours (16 min/mile pace). 2pm cutoff strictly enforced. No early starts.
AGE RESTRICTIONS:
All participants must be 18 or older to compete.
DIRECTIONS:
From New York City via NY State Thruway (Rt I-87): Take I- 87 over Tappan Zee Bridge. Take exit 11. Go to traffic light and make left onto Route 9W north. The park is 2.25 miles on right. Follow signs to Marathon Start/Finish area, near Parking Field 5.
From Northern New Jersey and points south of NYC: Head towards George Washington Bridge. Take Palisades Interstate Parkway North to Exit 4. Take a right onto 9W north. Follow approximately 12 miles to Park.
From Southeast and Southern New Jersey: Take Garden State Parkway north to NY State Thruway south to Exit 11. Make a left onto Rt. 59 east. Make a left at next light onto Rt. 9W north. Park is 2.25 miles on right.

From race directors to course monitors, all Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team races are staffed by its own volunteers since the Team’s inauguration in 1977 by its founder and fitness advocate, Sri Chinmoy.
Today, the SCMT organizes over 500 races a year in 20 countries across 5 continents, ranging from short kids fun-runs, to marathons to the world’s longest certified road race – the annual Self-Transcendence 3100 mile race(yes, 3,100 miles, it’s not a typo).
