ARCHIVED RACE: Something Wild Trail Run Festival: 1/2 Marathon, Marathon and Ultra: 4 Aug 19 @ Huccaby Farm, Hexworthy, Dartmoor, United Kingdom on 04 August 2019

HALF MARATHON: total climb 754m (2,544 feet). A tough half, but you’ll be rewarded with great best Dartmoor views up to Sharp Tor and beyond. Your race entry includes water station and bananas at the finish. See below for more details.
MARATHON: total climb 1,325m (4,347 feet). The trail marathon is our blue ribband event and crosses the fulcrum of Dartmoor. The route is a classic and was described by previous participants as a Category A fell route. The cut off time is 7 hours. Your race entry includes 2 timing splits, feed stations every 6 miles with water, energy drinks, cakes, flapjacks, Clive’s Pies, pretzels, banana, water melon and pies at the finish. 32 MILE ULTRA: total climb 1,381m (4,533 feet). This includes 2 UTMB points verified by the ITRA. This is the ideal distance for your first ultra, although it’s by no means easy. The cut off time for this event is 10 hours. In the event of bad weather, we will be re-routing the course; in torrential rain we will be avoiding the stepping stones all together. Your race entry includes 3 timing splits, laminated maps of the route, feed stations every 6 miles with water, energy drinks, cakes, flapjacks, Clive’s Pies, pretzels, banana, water melon and pies at the finish.
ALL DISTANCES start and finish at the festival site at Huccaby Farm and include the river crossing via the Huccaby stepping stones, a fully marked and marshalled course (with reflective stakes, surveyors flags, tape, plenty of large arrows), electronic chip timing + live results online, secure baggage drop, parking, toilets and showers, professional first aid, finishers’ medals, prizes for top 3 male and female and first V40 and V50.
