SC Peach Festival Road Races include 5k run/walk, 10k run and 1 mile fun run. 5k run/walk and 10k run start at 7:30am Saturday, July 14, 2012. All routes begin and end at Limestone College Timken Center Gymnasium intersection of O’Neal & Griffith Sts. Runners & walkers will have a challenging firs mile uphill. The second mile for the 5k & 4 miles of the 10k are through residential streets and the last mile is downhill back to the college. The one mile is an out an back Kids Run and will begin at 9am following the 5k & 10k beginning route. Online registration at www.strictlyrunning.com until 9pm July 11, 2012. Registration is available by mail and day of race by 7am. All races offer chip timing. T-shirts are available for registrants by July 6, 2012. Race bibs, t-shirts and bags can be picked up Friday, July 13, from 4pm to 7pm at Timken Center Gym or race morning by 7am. Cash prizes available, check out registration form at www.scpeachfestival.org under events and click on road race in right column.
