Race Facilities

  • Has Toilets? There will be toilets at the start / finish area. But don’t forget the extra toilet paper in your kit bag – just in case and please be respectful of the local environment!
  • Has Changing Facilities? IMPORTANT – there are limited changing facilities but no showering facilities available. So please come dressed to run – and think about a change of clothes for the journey home.
  • Has Water Stations? There is only one drink station at approximately half way (water only) and at the finish. Please make sure you bring enough drink for yourself before the race start.
  • Has Prizes / Awards? Presentation time will be announced on the day. All finishers will receive a Salomon technical t- shirt and various other goodies in the goody bags at the finish. Runners can only win one prize except for the Turbo X zone prize. Prizes will be awarded to the following: • Men and women - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Finishers • Over 40 men and women – 1st, 2nd finishers • Over 50 & 60 men and women – 1st • Turbo X Zone – 1st, 2nd, 3rd place regardless of age and gender

Race Description

TURBO X IS PURE FILTH! The maddest, muddiest run of the Salomon Trail Running Series, this race will not disappoint. We have 10 miles of the gnarliest mix of mud, sweat and trail to satisfy the most hardcore of off road desire! The infamous natural assault course of water, sand, marsh and muck has a hidden twist….The X ZONE…. A 1- 2 mile section of the craziest terrain to push your stamina, agility and perseverance to the limit! You’ll wade through watery wildness, clamber through mud, sand and bog, charging your way through the roughest off road track you can imagine!

    what a great race, this was my second one and ill be back next year, got to say this years (2010)event was harder and better then last years which was fab,……a big thanx to the prople who set this up, and to the sponsors,,, see you next year.
