Race Description

Join us for our 14th annual Running Scared 5k to benefit youth education! Virtual option is available for those who wish. We are returning in person this year, including food, music, awesome raffles and a beer garden post race! As always costumes are welcomed and encouraged.

Run or walk the 3.1 mile flat course through a ‘spooky’ cemetery, ending at a fabulous Halloween Fest! Participants are encouraged to wear costumes. After the race, people are admitted to the post race party where they can listen to music or have a cold beer (with proof of age 21 or older). They can enjoy food and drinks from our generous sponsors while they stay toasty warm inside or gather around the roaring fire outside.

Our traditional famous mugs are given to the first 50 men and 50 women to cross the finish line and medals are given to all participants. Overall results will be posted at the post race party and online. Those who register in advance of race day are eligible for fabulous door prizes.

Entrance fee increases after October 7, so register early!
