Race Description

The weekend takes place in the beautiful, channeled scablands terrain of Escure Ranch. Saturday, learn and practice map and compass skills with hands-on training exercises, then put your skills to the test on a practice navigation course. Sunday, plan and follow a route on foot to as many of the 45 checkpoints marked on the map as you can in your chosen time limit. Go for 4 hours, 7 hours, or the full 10 hours. Teams of 2-5 in 7-hour and 10-hour events. Solos welcome in 4-hour. All-you-can eat refreshments await you at the finish of the race.
