9th Annual Renegade Run Obstacle Course Race – Virtual Run

Type One Cares – Charity
The purpose of our Virtual Run is to have fun, stay motivated and to connect with each other as we continue to raise awareness and funds toward a cure for type 1 diabetes (T1D). Your registration fee is a donation to our Type One Cares campaign, an amazing charity making huge strides to support those living with T1D, while continuing to fund Dr. Faustman’s efforts to advance research toward a cure for disease.

Virtual Run Details
Renegade Virtual Run will take place between September 27, 2020 and October 25, 2020 from anywhere in the world! Participants will complete a 4 mile run, jog or walk, with a series of exercises that we will consider our “obstacles,” that can be completed at any time throughout the workout. When you finish the challenge, share your time, photos and videos with us on social media, or by email.

How It Works
1. Map out your own course between September 27, 2020 and October 25, 2020 and complete a 4 mile run, jog or walk with kids and pets, anywhere you would like. For our local runners, we are offering an option for you to run a 4 mile course, charted out in our area parks. It’s the closest thing to our traditional race, choose your own starting time and we will send you the trail map to run!
2. Run, jog or walk in your favorite park, street, or on a treadmill. Use any tracking method (GPS device/watch, tracking website or app, or treadmill reading), track your run and record proof for submission.
3. How we know you finished – post your time with a photo or a video sharing your Virtual Run experience on social media (Instagram and Facebook) and tag @typeonerenegaderun or www.facebook.com/TypeOneLLC. If you do not have access to social media please email your details to info@type-one.org.
4. Tech t-shirts and medals will be shipped to all finishers. When registering, please be sure to include a valid shipping address to ensure delivery.

Renegade Run Obstacle Course Race is a highly successful fundraising event that caters to fitness enthusiasts of all levels and focuses on camaraderie, goodwill and celebration of life. We support the life changing research of the Faustman Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital who is leading the way toward a cure for T1D.
