Race Description
The Parkersburg News and Sentinel hosts a half marathon and two mile race ever August. The race goes through the famous historical district and then takes the runners through the more scenic areas of Parkersburg West Virginia. This is a great community event were have many volunteers. The participants of the half marathon get to enjoy a pasta dinner the night before the race and a pizza lunch after.
