Race Description

Join us and conquer the third annual ODDyssey Half Marathon! The ODDyssey has quickly become Philadelphia’s favorite half marathon because it is Philadelphia’s most fun half marathon!

Whether it’s your first or hundredth half marathon the ODDyssey has something unique to offer. The ODDyssey remembers that running is fun. Though a serious endurance race, this half marathon is coupled with optional twists and turns throughout the course for runners who want to have a little fun. The race includes costume contests, a beer garden, plenty of live music and unique challenges to make it a race you will never forget. But wait, we also have a hefty prize package for winners, the latest in timing technology, professional photographers and a USATF certified race course.

The ODDyssey is perfectly timed to transition you from the 10 mile Broad Street Run into your spring half marathon! The course is truly unique and takes in the beauty of Fairmount Park; beginning on the Memorial Hall Green and winding around the tranquil Belmont Plateau before touring the stunning Schuylkill River along West River Drive. Runners will finish back at Memorial Hall for a post race bash with beer, music and free massage.

The word is out. In 2011, the ODDyssey more than doubled in size and is expected to grow even more in 2012. Register early so you don’t miss out.
