Start your healthy Thanksgiving tradition with the Oakland Turkey Trot and earn your day’s indulgence with a 5K run or walk around Lake Merritt. In partnership with the Mayor’s Office, Alameda County Community Food Bank, Oakland Public Schools and local sponsors and charities, we are honored to bring Oakland its first Thanksgiving Day community fitness event that is 100% The Town.
