Race Description

One day, three events…There is a distance to suit all at our very own Monster Run Fest!! You have the choice of a Half Marathon, Marathon or Ultra. What more could you ask for?!

The Half Marathon will start at 10:00 outside the awesome Ely Cathedral you will pass through the City of Ely and onto the river bank of the River Great Ouse. You’ll follow this path to the village of Wicken, the halfway and turnaround point. You will then follow the same route back to the ‘Ship of the Fens’.

This event is ideal for all; it’s low key and friendly, it’s flat, the route is well marked and there is support on course. With a few obstacles (steps, stiles, cattle grids) along the way, this is more of an adventure / fun (yes you read right) course than one to chase a PB on. For new comers to half marathons there is no need to worry about time or coming last as those crazy ultra runners will still be out on course.
