Race Description

This is our 5th year doing our home town home-brewed mud and obstacle course race. We don’t just run you around a corn field here. Our course loops around the edges of St. Feriole Island, our towns 240-acre city park on the Mississippi River. We make full use of the abundant riverbank mud, and natural obstacles offered by the flood plain terrain. Local businesses assist us with creating man made obstacles out of things like round bales, old cars, earth mover tires, etc. The course offers a real challenge to those looking to make a good time or beat their friends to the finish. It’s also just a plain fun for folks who want take an easier pace. We encourage teams, and lots of folks show up in costume. We also offer a ~1-mile kids race which is very popular.
