The Mercer Surrey Half Marathon is a friendly and local event, which promises a high quality experience for every runner. The fast, flat course invites great mix of novices and returning runners back each year, and boasts one of the fastest half marathon course records of 01:02 hrs.

This scenic, single-lap half marathon is set in the glorious countryside surrounding Woking and Guildford, and follows a fully-closed and professionally marked and measured route out from Woking town into the rural delights of the nearby quaint villages. This picturesque race is made even more enjoyable by live music and communities of local supporters.

Set early in Spring, our 5km is the perfect “first race” for the new year – and a great start to the day at the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon! Setting off first from the main gantry, 5km runners will enjoy some of the best bits of the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon,
including: a lead car, professional route marking, a water station, and a fantastic mix of urban and rural scenery.

Taking new runners an average of 30 minutes to complete, the Mercer Surrey Half Marathon 5km is a very achievable race. If you are not ready to train for and complete a half marathon, but want to enjoy the mass-participation racing experience – the 5km is the race for you. Everyone aged 10+ is welcomed to get involved and give this race a go.

The Mercer Surrey Half Marathon Kids’ Run, delivered with Freedom Leisure, is one of the UK’s largest kids’ running races for those aged 6 – 16. Starting under the main half-marathon gantry, the Kids Race showcases running as a stand-alone sport in a fun and exciting environment
