Mad Dog Mudder Race 2012

The Mad Dog Mudder Race is coming to New England, on June 2, 2012 Gunstock Mountain Resort, NH, will host the first ever Mad Dog Mudder Race. With fitness obstacles placed up the mountain, this 5k has been dubbed “the toughest 5k you’ll ever do.” And 1,500 people are expected to compete. The Concord Athlete Training Center and Brian’s One to One gym are the organizers.

And, the race will be fan friendly, with great views of the race and obstacles, and access to all of the great activities that Gunstock has to offer. These activities will include a ropes course, zip line, face painting, food vendors, Segway tours, live music, and much more. It will be a great day for families, racers, and the sponsors.

Along with getting a killer workout, racers are giving back to the community. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to Womenade of Concord, which gives short-term financial assistance to families in need to help avert serious financial crisis in these difficult times. The organization’s service areas include Central NH. Along with giving back to the community, the race is supporting the local economy as well, as all obstacles were constructed in Concord by Natural Playgrounds Construction Company, LLC. possible.

The cost varies, dependent upon age and date of registration. The earlier you sign up, the lower the cost. Interested racers can go www.maddogmudder.com to register. Prices are as follows:
• $40 Student Pricing Special! High school & college students (must show valid student ID at packet pickup)
• $60 Early Bird pricing until January 31, 2012
• $70 between February 1, 2012 and March 15, 2012
• $75 between March 16, 2012 and May 1, 2012.
• $85 between May 2, 2012 and June 2, 2012.
