The Langley Crew Booster Club invites our local community members and visitors home for the holidays to join us for a fun-filled event that combines fitness and festivity while supporting the dedicated rowers of the Langley High School Crew Team. Whether you’re an experienced runner or looking for a leisurely stroll, this event is perfect for everyone. Gather your friends, family, and even your furry companions and join us for a memorable day of trotting together! Registration is now open, so don’t wait to secure your spot!

About the Race
Participants and supporters should assemble in the Langley High School parking lot beginning at 8:00am on November 25, 2023. The race will begin at 9:00am. They can pick up their t-shirts and race packages at the racer check-in desk. Starting from Langley High School, the scenic route will take participants through beautiful neighborhoods off Georgetown Pike, offering picturesque fall views along the way. Runners and walkers of all ability levels are invited to participate.

Langley Crew Team Support
As a club sport, the Langley Crew Team receives no funding from the Fairfax County School District. Proceeds from the race will help pay for equipment, coaching, racing expenses, and daily bus transportation during the season for approximately 130 team members to and from practice at Sandy Run park on the Occoquan River. The 5K race, the team’s annual Tag Day campaign, and parental donations are the team’s primary sources of funding. The crew team is the largest student organization at Langley High School. All proceeds from the race will go towards funding equipment, training, and competitions for the Langley Crew team. You’ll not only have a great time, but also support a worthy cause that promotes fitness and camaraderie in the community.

Community Toy Drive
At the event we will also be hosting a toy drop off for charity. Race participants and supporters are invited to bring an unwrapped toy to the toy drive table in the Langley High School parking lot on the morning of the race.
