The most extensive running event of the Far East the Vth Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon is held in Vladivostok on September 26, 2020.

The marathon “Bridges of Vladivostok” has become the calling card of our Region for sport tourism fans not only from Russia, but for the runners from Asia as well. The last year, the largest number of foreign participants came from Japan, and they won the longest distance 42 kilometers. The marathon gives the opportunity to run along the famous Vladivostok bridges (“Russky” and “Golden”), as well as to have the great time, try the local cuisine, attend the presentations of the Primorsky stage of the Mariinsky Theater, to feel the unique atmosphere of the Far East capital.

The registration is already opened. There are tradition distances:
– Marathon 42 km (18+)
– Halfmarathon 21,1 km (18+)
– 10 km (16+)
– 5 km (individual, family (10+) trial)
– 1 km for kids

All the distances lay through the sightseeing route along the Russky island, “Russky” and “Golden” bridges, with finish at the Vladivostok Central square.

FACTS: Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon
– Is the only marathon at the Far East of Russia, which has the AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) certification, what gives the opportunity of official recognition of their world records to the professional sportsmen, and to all participants – the assurance that the race is organized in a high-quality manner, in accordance with all the requirements of the international running community, along with such as the Berlin, Tokyo or Boston marathons;

– Is included into the Official calendar of physical and sports events of the Primorsky region;
– For five years, the marathon has been held with the support of the title partner of the marathon – Samsung Galaxy brand SAMSUNG.

We believe that by the time of the Vth Galaxy Vladivostok Marathon in September 2020 the world situation related to the Covid-19 will stabilize and we would have the ability to run across the Vladivostok bridges. And then our marathon will be not only sports, but also health celebration for all the participants and spectators.
However, despite the spirit of optimism, we are aware of the risk of cancelling the event for reasons beyond the control of the organizers, and we have developed a system for refunding participants in this situation.
