Race Description

13th Annual Forest Grove Lions Club Run & Walk for Sight, 9 am September 21, 2013 at Pacific University, Pacific Avenue & College Way, Forest Grove OR 97116. USA Track & Field sanctioned event.

10K and 5k runs professionally timed by Uberthons, a 5k fun run or walk, and tot trot. Registration fees include event tee shirt, chip timing, parking, refreshments & prize drawing entry. Pre-registration $25 students, $30 general until 9/3; after pre-registration closes, $30 students, $35 general. Teams of 6 or more receive student pricing if preregistered by 9/3. Day of event registration only after 9/16.

Forest Grove Lions partner with Pacific University College of Optometry to support its students and staff in improving eyesight of many vision-impaired adults and children in western Washington County and developing countries. 100% of monies raised by this event are returned to the community to fund scholarships, purchase vision clinic equipment and assist the Pacific University AMIGOS program of volunteer optometric services. Participating in this event helps serve our neighbors in need in Forest Grove and beyond.
