Race Description

Drops To Hops is a bicycle road race that has something for every level. The event consists of two different length courses that follow mostly secondary roads through the valleys and hills of Otsego County. The “A” race is about 43 miles that is geared towards the “racer” with rolling hills, flats and a sizeable climb just past half way. The “B” race/ride is 25 miles with rolling hills and flats that most abilities can complete and have fun doing it. The late September race is perfect for fall foliage viewing as you ride. Both of the courses start and finish at Brewery Ommegang with the host offering an after race party with a band , drink(first beer on them) and food for a reasonable cost. The awards ceremony will be held under a tent after the last racer comes in. Overall male/female in each race and also age group awards will be given.
