Race Description

This unique race leads runners through 2 counties & 2 rivers and is the only known race in the world to cross a tidal bay. It has been one of the UK’s highest rated races for several years. Runners arrive and park at Hest Bank to be transported by coach to the race start at Flookburgh, Cumbria (journey takes approx. 1 hour). The race then crosses the sands of Morecambe Bay, finishing at Hest Bank, Lancashire where runners have parked their cars. As this is a fundraising event for charity, participants are kindly requested to try to raise sponsorship or to donate during the registration process.
