we traveled from London, camped overnight and arrived at the rugby club this morning only to be told the event had been cancelled over a month ago 🙁
Hi Vanessa,
Sorry to hear you had such a bad experience today. This race was added back in February, and we were not informed that it had been cancelled (as with yourself!) – if race organisers inform us an event has been cancelled, we’ll remove it from Race-Calendar.com, and also we mention it on the Facebook page and on the Twitter too (there are links in the bit at the right of this page to our Twitter and Facebook). But this does rely upon us being told of the cancellation before the event!
Hope your next race is considerably better all round!
Sorry to hear you’ve had a less than ideal day – but hope you managed to have an otherwise enjoyable weekend.
Keep running.
Rob
