ARCHIVED RACE: Color Sunday Adventure Challenge @ Powderhorn Mountain Resort, Mesa, CO, United States on 27 September 2015

Please join us on Color Sunday Sunday, September 27th, at Powderhorn Mountain Resort to participate in the 10K Thigunawat trail run race and/or the 3K Team Adventure Run.

The 10K Thigunawat individual trail run race will be run on a similar spectacular course as 2009, 2010, 2012 and 2013 (9:30 am) (unlike the rain-shortened course from 2014).

The 3K Team Adventure Run will be similar to the “new and improved” 2014 course. Most participate together in teams in the RECREATIONAL registration class– whether business teams with co-workers, family teams, or teams of friends with zany team names. Costumes or team outfits are encouraged. The starts are staggered in waves, so you will start together with all your team members. Wave start times will be posted in the registration area on event day. The goal is to get all the members of your team through the course: whether running, walking, crawling, climbing over hay bales, or slogging thru mud or water. Certainly individual registrations are fine (you can even create a team name with a team of one!) Continued in in 2015: COMPETITIVE individual racer class will go first starting at 12 noon– first one through is the winner and prizes will be given to the first male and female finisher.

Enjoy live music, food, beverages, fall colors, and good company on Powderhorn’s Sun Deck.
All of the event’s proceeds will benefit the Powderhorn Racing Club, a non-profit organization offering a top-notch learn to ski race program for kids ages 5 and up of all ability levels.
