Race Description

Mens Course Record 32:16 by Simon Nott (March 2013)
Womens Course Record 37:15 by Amy Chalk (October 2011)

This 10km accurately measured road race is suitable for runners aged 15 and over, together with a 1.5km fun run which is suitable for all ages. This course is capable of producing your personal best, fast and flat. We will have a range of activities to keep you here after the event to. Each runner will receive a special memento for the event and category winners will receive a special gift in a presentation.

Race registration from 9.00am
Fun run starts at 10.00am, looping around traffic free sports fields
10km race starts at 11.00am, with an out and back route along quiet country lanes

– There will be an organised aerobic warm up before the start.
– 10KM Race entrants must be 15 years and over.
– Fun Run entrants any age.
– Please note this course is unsuitable for wheelchairs, prams, pushchairs, dogs and MP3 players.
– Ample free parking.
– Changing, shower & locker facilities.
– Homemade cakes, teas & coffees and children’s activities.
