Race Description

The 2012 Intact Insurance Canadian Derby Edmonton Marathon, being held August 18-19, 2012.

The Canadian Derby 2012 Edmonton Marathon Festival includes the Half Marathon, 10 km, 5 km and Kids Mini Marathon events!

The start/finish location is at Northlands Park racetrack, with plenty of indoor washrooms and change areas. The course is flat and fast (running along the top of the river valley…looking down, not up), with first-class amenities for runners and families. The expo, package pickup and registration will be indoors in the Edmonton Expo Centre.

Plenty of free parking, a FREE family fun zone and food services will also be available on race weekend. We also have the Kids Mini Marathon that you can register your children to get a t-shirt and medal – either on-line or walk-up registration at the event site.
