We had a fabulous day at the Great North Run, we are both so happy to have taken part and completed the course. What a hospitable bunch the North East folk are. Thanks to you all for coming out and handing out drinks and food and cheering.

Well done to the winners Martin Mathathi and Lucy Karbuu (01:07:06) – both of Kenya who won the Great North Run!
Didn’t compete in this year’s Great North Run, but watched a little of the race on the BBC and it looked great as ever.
Congratulations to those who took part!
