ARCHIVED RACE: Breakout Run @ Maashorst, Schaijk, Noord Brabant, Netherlands on 17 May 2014

The Breakout Run is the ultimate obstacle course.

Once the participants gathered by the start area there is no way back.. Together with the other “prisoners” it is time to form a riot and break out of the maximum secured facility. Behind the prison gate it is time to start your escape.

All of the fugitive’s shall find multiple surprises behind the prison wall, they have to dodge, climb and eventually conquer multiple obstacles.

Cellblock A is the cellblock known as the “Competition Block”. The one who will finish as first, wins the title!

Through time registration the other participants can look up their time and compare this with the other fugitive’s.

Long story short the Breakout Run is a very challenging run, but definitely doable for everybody with a healthy basic endurance and a good amount of motivation!

Explanation different categories:

8KM BREAKOUT
For some this is easy, for others it can be a tough challenge. This trail is a trail of 8 kilometers. During these 8 kilometers you will find multiple obstacles to make sure you don’t breakout easily!

16 KM BREAKOUT
This is a lot harder, your escape trail is twice as long so make sure you are well trained to complete your breakout successfully.

8/16KM CHAINED BREAKOUT
During this attempt to breakout your faith is in the hands of a fellow prisoner. Your arms will be chained to each other. You will get chained at the start and only after the 16 kilometers we will unchain you!

8/16KM BREAKOUT @ NIGHT
To breakout in the dark is even a bigger challenge! Are you the real daredevil who is going to breakout after sunset? (22:00) Then this is the challenge for you! Armed with only a head light you are will have to complete the trail.
