The Bradford on Avon Olympic Triathlon received rave reviews in its first two years and is back for 2013.

The event is set in the beautiful, historic town in Wiltshire and the 1500m river swim takes place in the River Avon. The 40k bike is a technical and scenic hilly route around the surrounding villages and the 10k run a fast, ‘out and back’ run along the canal tow path.

The event will include:

• Chip timing including all splits.
• Medal and goody bag for all finishers.
• Event camping (limited numbers – email will@dbmax.co.uk)
• On-site catering with hot food and drinks.
• On site sports massage.
• Specialist running and wetsuit and bike maintenance stand.
• Race photography from Sportysnaps.com.
• Medal now with optional iTaB (see below).

iTaB
In 2013 for just £5 you can have your medal personalised with your name, position and finish time and if you’re keen, your splits too. Your details and results will be engraved on a small plate which fits neatly into the back of your medal. See here for an example.

Race Distance
Triathlon: 1500m open water swim (river swim), 40k bike, 10k run (out and back flat run).

Race Start
Wave starts: 8:00 to 8:30.

• Barton Farm Country Park.
Barton Farm Country Park is well sign posted and is located off the B3109 on the edge of the historic town of Bradford on Avon. Ample parking is available at the nearby railway station (postcode BA15 1DF).
