Race Description

The God’s Country Marathon was named one of the “top ten toughest” marathons in the United States by Runner’s World Magazine, taking runners on a scenic and challenging journey from Galeton to Coudersport, PA through the majestic Susquehannock State Forest along Route 6 via Denton Hill. Those who participate in the half marathon run the second half of the full marathon, beginning at Denton Hill State Park, and “conquer the hill” in the first few miles of the race.
