ARCHIVED RACE: 10th Annual Pathfinder Kids Kampus Turkey Trot @ Huntington, IN, United States on 27 November 2014

2014 marks the 10th year of the Pathfinder Kids Kampus Turkey Trot 5k and 1 mile fun run / walk. Held on Thanksgiving Morning, this event has become a community and family tradition for those in and around Huntington County. Last year’s Turkey Trot had a record 940 participants and has become the largest fundraiser for Pathfinder Kids Kampus, raising over $21,000 in 2013 for the families and children served by the child care center. Pathfinder Kids Kampus, a Caring Place to Go Where Children Discover and Grow, is an integrated center which focuses on the whole child while providing support to the entire family. Pathfinder Kids Kampus is a Level 3 Paths to QUALITY provider and is the only licensed child care center in Huntington County. In addition to child care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, Pathfinder Kids Kampus also offers Early Head Start programming for expectant mothers and children birth to 3, Summer Kamp, Before and After School Care, and Premier Preschool for children ages three to five. The proceeds from the Pathfinder Kids Kampus Turkey Trot help support the programs and services offered for the children and families of Huntington and surrounding counties.
Host sponsor McDonald’s of Huntington provides location and after race breakfast items. Cash prizes to division winners. Long-sleeve shirt to first 1000 registrants. Medals awarded to all 10 and under participants.
