Unite Fitness is reinventing the traditional decathlon as a complete test of your heart, muscle and mind in one kickass event. The UFD Unite Fitness Decathlon is designed to challenge all fitness elements: stability, endurance, strength, conditioning and athletic power with 10 fitness challenges spanning a 10 kilometer (6.2 miles) trail run in Philadelphia’s Wissahickon Creek area. The purpose of this fun individual and team competition is to inspire people to train to be well-rounded athletes, integrating fitness, nutrition, friends and even their pets into their healthy lifestyle. Unite Fitness has partnered with the Utley Foundation to help educate children and adults on treating their pets as cared for members of their family.
