Race Description

The Hereward Relay is a 4-stage relay between Peterborough and Ely. The distances are Peterborough to Whittlesey 6.5miles, Whittlesey to March 10.5 miles, March to Welney 10.3 miles and Welney to Ely 10.4 miles. Teams can be mixed or all ladies and all men. Terrain is mainly off road, grass, bridleways and river banks. Well marshaled and signed, with toilets, parking and drinks at all change-over points and food at Welney and Ely.
The Hereward Ultra Race is incorporated in this event with runners completing the whole distance themselves. Separate check-points and drinks near Relay change-overs.
