Race Description

This Half-Marathon race is part of the South Australian winter championships, which are age graded based on 5 yearly age increments. Medallions for age group winners and place getters are presented at end of season presentations. It is held in the west parklands of N.Adelaide, along the River Torrens. Registration must be made at least 20 min before the start of the Championship event.
Only members of the South Australian Masters Athletics Club are eligible to compete in the championship event, but at the same venue there will be a handicapped team relay event available for all participants, in which the total 21.1km may be run in legs by runners and race walkers (see the race website for details). Registration for these races should be made at least ONE WEEK before the event.
