Race Description

The 2nd Annual San Diego Half Marathon is a race that celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of the City of San Diego while raising money to help their communities. The 2013 race also features a 5K, and will be held on Sunday, March 10, 2012.

The route for the half marathon begins under the Omni Sky Bridge on Tony Gwynn Drive, winds its way through downtown San Diego to Harbor Drive, where you’ll get a spectacular view of San Diego Bay, makes it way through Liberty Station and MCRD, climbs Washington Street through Mission Hills and into Hillcrest, and goes downhill on 6th Avenue next to Balboa Park and through downtown again, ending with our new, downtown finish which features a live jumbotron.
