Race Description

3.5 miles of agony – do not do this race! It gets worse… Pen y Fan is the first half of the Brecon Fans Race Weekend, with the Fan y Big Horseshoe on the Sunday – clearly intended for masochists and the deranged. If for any reason you feel the need to run Pen y Fan, fine, though don’t say we didn’t warn you; just make sure you leave the area immediately after you’ve downed the beer and flapjacks, and don’t get tempted into running Fan y Big as well. www.breconfans.org.uk
