Race Description

This is a 5K Run and Walk which starts at 8:00 a.m. This is a flat course so prepare for your PR!

Trophies will be given for the top Male & Female finishers and medals will be given for the top 3 finishers in each age category for Males & Females.(see website at www.beacon5k.com).

THEN, help us set a record in the METRO EAST’S LARGEST CONGA LINE following the 5K! Beat bongos and shake maracas! Bring your Conga Line hats! Local dignitaries and news reporters will be attending.

The 1 Mile Fun Run (ages 10 and under) will follow the Conga Line. Medals will be given to each Fun Run participant.

This will be a morning of pure fun and shenanigans!

Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-up and Pre-Race Day Registration will be on Friday, July 26, 2013 from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Toolen’s Running Start, 3220 Green Mount Crossing Road, Shiloh, IL 62269

Race Day Registration is available from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
