Race Description

The Antarctica Marathon & Half-Marathon was first held in 1995 and was held every two years. The event is now held annually in late February or early March at the end of the souther summer. Marathon Tours & Travel both organizes the event and offers travel packages that include lots of wildlife viewing, Zodiac excursions, kayaking, research base visits and lectures on the exploration and history of the Seventh Continent.
