The Spires & Steeples Challenge is a 26 mile or 13 mile run or walk that starts at Lincoln Castle (or Metheringham) and finishes in Sleaford. It has been a successful charity run/walk following the public footpaths and bridleways along the Arts & Heritage Trail for the past 4 years. Participants challenge themselves to complete […] 10K race with jumps which takes part alongside the Belton Horse Trials and Grantham Cup, so there will be plenty for families and supporters to see and do while the running race takes place including a vintage car parade, dog agility test, dressage and beer tent. A mainly off road half marathon open to teams of 4 (2 male 2 female) & also individuals, start time 11am. Just off the A607 Grantham to Lincoln Rd. Certificate and medal for all finishers. 
A challenging rural course including 1 mile off-road 10.30 Start. Entry is £13/£15 UKA affilliated/non-affiliated runners. Entries on the day are an extra £2. 3-4 km Fun run – entries on the day only. Testing rural route. Not suitable for wheelchair users. Dogs not allowed.
