Chip and gun timed race past the landmarks of Blackpool. The roads are closed for this 15,000 competitor event which includes a wheelchair race. Fast, flat course which fills up early (500 place limit). Two water stops and hot refreshments on the day. ARCHIVED RACE: Windmill 10K @ Lowther Pavilion, Lytham-St-Anne’s, Lancashire, UK on 11 November 2012PB course on the North West coast of England. Water halfway on this flat course. A one-way way race to Fleetwood with free bus transfer to the start in Blackpool. Run along the promenades between North Pier and Cleveleys in aid of the Hilton in the Community Foundation. North Pier to Bispham in aid of Hilton in the Community Foundation. Flat one lap course with a certified distance making this an ideal PB breaker. A flat two-lap course with commemorative medals for all finishers and prizes for the first three runners home in each category. Water bottles handed out halfway and at the finish. 
A fast and flat course through Stanley Park run in aid of HomeStart Blackpool – who support families and carers across the Fylde. Fast and flat course with clear mile markers. Compete on a course along the promenades of Fleetwood & Cleveleys with a great view of Morecambe Bay. Another flat and fast course from Fylde Coast Running in in aid of Blackpool Fylde & Wyre Cerebral Palsy Association. Women-only race along Blackpool promenade. Stanley Park comprises 390 acres of ornamental gardens, statues, water fountains and memorials. Compete on this traffic free, two-lap course for prizes in the first three places of each category. A multi-lap flat and fast course giving participants the best opportunity to record a PB. Race starts at the Richard Durning’s school, Bispham Green and goes over Parbold Hill via farmers’ fields, roads and muddy tracks before returning to the school 6.8 miles later.
