Are you faster than a horse? Come and run a fun 24km race against horses on scenic trails above Loch Ness and find out! The race is raising money for Highland Hospice and the South Loch Ness Access Group.

The Man Versus Horse Marathon has been taking place since 1980 when a group of men in a local pub were arguing over whether people or ponies were fastest on the hills. After 25 years, a man finally beat a horse by running the mountainous course in 02:05.00. 10K race with jumps which takes part alongside the Belton Horse Trials and Grantham Cup, so there will be plenty for families and supporters to see and do while the running race takes place including a vintage car parade, dog agility test, dressage and beer tent. |
