Race Description
LAS TERRENAS 10K, 2010 was the first athletic event ever celebrated in Las Terrenas, Samaná. Now going into its third edition, this ten-kilometer road race -with the support of the Dominican Federation of Athletics Associations (FDAA,) and certified by AIMS, Association of International Marathons and Distance Races and by IAAF, International Association of Athletics Federations- has established itself as a national and international event. For 2012, we are adding the 5K race which will be run simultaneously and in the same 10K circuit.

Congratulations to the winners of the 10K – Toribio Rosa Pichardo who finished in a time of 32:05 and Johanna Joseph, who completed the course in just 40:03 – as well as the winners of the 5K – Jairo Hernández who won in 16:35 and the women’s leader, Vicky Martínez who ran the course in 24:40!
