Race Description

The Bath Half Marathon is one of the longest established and most popular city centre road events in the UK. It is also one of the largest charity fundraisers in the South West, raising over £1.2 million for charity last year alone.  The course itself is fast and flat making it suitable for all abilities – for beginners whose key objective is to complete the course, to more regular long-distance event runners, looking to beat their personal best time.  It covers a two lap 13.1 mile (21.1km) traffic free course straddling both sides of the River Avon. The race starts and finishes in Great Pulteney Street, in the heart of the World Heritage City of Bath

    Thanks Graeme – feel free to submit the Trowbridge race here: https://www.race-calendar.com/add-race/ its totally free and won’t take any longer than making a cup of tea.

    Its often a pain getting to and from popular races, but good to hear it was well attended and the event went well.

    Great event as usual, but what a shame that for spectators it was not so easy to get to. The train from Westbury was so full at Trowbridge that it could not pick anybody up at Bradford on Avon. And waiting at Bath to return the Paddington train was so full that many could not get on. Surely a few extra carriages would not have been a problem?
