Hi Chris – you’ll need to talk to the organisers of the marathon about this – we just list the races. The number is 0845 308 4001 or you can use their email form here: http://www.cardiffhalfmarathon.co.uk/contact_us.htm
A team of 4 Royal Army Physical Training Corps Instructors are looking at completing the course whilst tyre flipping. Raising money for a fellow Corp Man who has been diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. Would we be allowed to do this at the Cardiff Half Marathon event?. It could also be a world record that is being looked into. We have our own team looking after us and est time up to now is 4.5hrs. Which I appreciate could be a problem but maybe we could have an early start. We really have our hopes on completing this challenge in Cardiff as there will be great support and we want the maximum publicity possible to raise money. Many thanks for considering our challenge look forward to hearing from you. Chris Gibbs.
