Race Description

The Spartan Sprint Race is a 3-mile adventure race set to take place in Washington DC at TO BE ANNOUNCED on Saturday, June 18th. The foot race features obstacles like 4′ hurdles, 8′ wall, 12′ slippery ramp, cargo net climb, barbed wire crawl, water cannon, traverse wall, fire jump and has Spartan inspired elements like a spear throw and gladiator pit. Proceeds of the race go to Homes for our Troops, a charity dedicated to providing specialty homes for veterans who have been severely injured. Each participant will receive a Spartan Race t-shirt and medal. There will be a post-race party, awards ceremony and a kid’s race, as well as many other activities guaranteed to be fun for the entire family! Type in the word “spartan” and it will take $10 off the entry fee, but hurry because tickets are going fast!
